The Fall of the House of Improv

Highwire Improv presents an evening of spontaneous comedy at The Highwire Center, where performers create the entire show live from audience suggestions. There is no script, no artificial intelligence, and no second take, so every scene and game happens only once.

The featured lineup is Royal Improv Fun Foundry, a Baltimore group of “jesters in disguise” performing improv games in an effort to displease the king. The show may include short-form competitive games, slice-of-life scenes, or longer performances shaped like sitcoms or movies. Improv is live theater made in the moment, and this performance will be unique to the evening.
