Exhibition: Even Our Oddkin
Even Our Oddkin is a group exhibition about the interconnected lives of humans and the animals, plants, microbes, machines, materials, weather, chemicals, and infrastructures that surround us. The participating artists consider “more-than-human” relationships and imagine how we might understand forms of life and presence beyond our own. Their work treats nature as something shaped by technology, politics, industry, and everyday experience, blurring the distinctions between natural and cultural, organic and manufactured.
The exhibition asks what kinship can mean in the present day and how people might live more attentively in a world shared with both familiar and unconventional neighbors. It is guest curated by Lynn Tomlinson and Danielle d’Amico of Towson University’s Department of Electronic Media & Film.
