Chamber Concert: Stravinsky & A Sweet Treat

Seven ASO musicians, conducted by Claire Lewis, present Igor Stravinsky’s *The Soldier’s Tale* in an intimate chamber concert combining music and storytelling. Inspired by a Russian folk tale, the work follows a soldier who trades his violin to the devil for a book promising limitless wealth, only to learn the real cost of his bargain. Stravinsky’s vivid instrumentation and lively rhythms bring the tale’s humor, temptation, and drama to life.

The musical experience concludes with complimentary macarons and other French pastries from Sweet Hearts Patisserie, continuing the tradition of the orchestra’s previous food-themed concerts.
