Red Emma’s Mother Earth Poetry Vibe—featuring FreeQuency!

Sat, Nov 7, 2026at 6:00 PM
3128 Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, MD
Price not available
Featuring: FreeQuency

Red Emma’s Mother Earth Poetry Vibe is a justice-focused poetry and spoken-word gathering centered on solidarity, conscious thought, spirituality, community, and social transformation. Inspired by the tradition of Emma Goldman’s *Mother Earth* magazine, the evening invites people to perform, listen, and contribute their presence and energy to a community open mic. The event is intended for non-erotic poetry rather than romantic “love” poetry, and attendees are asked to leave misogyny, homophobia, and similar harms outside.

Featured artist FreeQuency will provide the evening’s main artistic and liberatory presence. The event will also feature Analysis as host, with an open mic available to attendees. A mic list will be prepared at Red Emma’s, and the organizers will pass a physical and electronic donation bucket to support the featured poet and help sustain future programming.
