BFMS Annual Picnic
The rescheduled BFMS Annual Picnic brings Baltimore Folk Music Society members, friends, and neighbors together for an informal afternoon at Lake Roland Park. The gathering is designed for socializing, meeting the current BFMS board, sharing ideas, and participating in casual song swaps and jams. Friends and family are welcome, and costumes are encouraged.
Bring your own picnic, with finger foods suggested for sharing as an appetizer or dessert. The event also typically includes a popular folk-clothing, dance-shoe, and CD swap. Anyone taking an item without contributing something is encouraged to make a donation to the swap hat. All ages are welcome.
