First Exposure: Beginner Photography
First Exposure is a four-week introductory digital photography workshop for beginners, led by photographer Kaitlyn McQuaid. Designed for people who have a digital camera but are unsure how to use it, or who want to strengthen their photography skills, the workshop explores the core elements of photography through focused instruction and hands-on practice.
Each weekly class lasts two hours and covers a major photographic concept in depth, including aperture, ISO, shutter speed, lighting, and composition. Participants will complete in-class exercises and receive tips for photographing moments independently outside of class.
