DeRay Davis ~ Special Event

DeRay Davis brings his sharp, sardonic stand-up to Baltimore Comedy Factory for a special-event comedy weekend. A Chicago native, Davis developed material drawn from race, poverty, family, and his experiences growing up in the city’s projects before breaking through at Atlanta’s Laffapalooza Festival. He later won the Comedy Central Laugh Riots Competition and appeared at the Montreal Just for Laughs and Cedric the Entertainer festivals.

Davis is also known for his work in film, television, and voice acting. His credits include *21 Jump Street*, *Jumping the Broom*, *Barbershop* and *Barbershop 2: Back in Business*, *The Fog*, *School for Scoundrels*, *Semi-Pro*, *Imagine That*, *Life As We Know It*, and *Old Dogs*. He has appeared on *Entourage* and *Reno 911!*, contributed voice and writing work to Kanye West-related projects and *The Boondocks*, and appeared in VH1’s *Hip Hop Squares*. His Showtime special is *DeRay Davis: Power Play*.
