CP Open Auditions for When the Hurlyburly’s Done

Free open auditions are being held for The Colonial Players’ production of Richard Nelson’s *When the Hurlyburly’s Done*, directed by Stacy Kessler. The drama follows six women in a traveling Ukrainian theater company in 1920 as they confront war while remaining committed to their art, families, and country. Set over one evening, the play explores how the artists sustain one another by sharing their personal experiences, with humor, hope, and optimism alongside the hardships.

Six performers will be cast, and all roles are open. The roles are non-paying. The resulting production is scheduled to run January 15–31, 2027.
