Burlesque 101
Burlesque 101 is an introductory workshop led by Aquarius Moon that explores the glamour, history, and self-expression of classic burlesque. The October session focuses on glove peels, with instruction in bumps, grinds, shimmies, showgirl stance, stage presence, and burlesque walking. It is designed for participants of all experience levels and celebrates a supportive, inclusive approach to performance.
Students should bring gloves of any length, color, or style. Gloves will also be available to borrow or purchase on site. The class is part of the Charm School of Burlesque’s monthly workshop series and can be combined with the same evening’s Heels Performance Class.
