Mike Dawes

Mike Dawes brings his intricate solo fingerstyle guitar performance to Rams Head On Stage. The English guitarist is known for composing, arranging, and performing multiple parts simultaneously on a single instrument, combining original material, inventive arrangements, viral performances, and mainstream collaborations.

Dawes has been recognized as one of the world’s leading modern acoustic guitarists, earning Total Guitar Magazine and MusicRadar reader-poll honors as “Best Acoustic Guitarist in the World” in 2017 and 2018. His work includes a viral solo arrangement of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” collaborations with Tommy Emmanuel and Periphery, performances and recordings with Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, and contributions to the soundtrack of Ubisoft’s *Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown*. His most recent studio album, *Galactic Acid*, was released in August 2024.
