Rana Geralis Plein Air Workshop

Rana Geralis leads this one-day plein air still-life painting workshop for the Maryland Federation of Art. She will guide participants through her process from developing an initial idea and sketch to simplifying shapes, observing light and shadow, and completing a painting. The workshop focuses on color, composition, and palette-knife technique, with demonstrations and personalized instruction designed to help each participant strengthen their painting skills.

Geralis is a returning Paint Annapolis juried plein air artist whose bright, serene paintings use dramatic shadows, bold shapes, and a wide range of colors. She works primarily in oil and other media and is represented by several regional galleries. Participants should leave with new skills and two completed paintings.
