Character Drawing

Character Drawing is a hands-on visual arts class led by professional artist and “dreamer” Lydia Ethem. The workshop focuses on stylized character design and development, inviting participants to imagine fantastical characters and bring them to life through drawing.

With an emphasis on illustration, anime, and comic books, the class covers new styles and techniques while also supporting participants who want to develop their own artistic approach. It is suited to costume, cosplay, and drag designers; illustrators; cartoonists; and anyone looking to improve their ability to draw hands.
