Melvin Seals & JGB
Melvin Seals & JGB bring a spirited blend of blues, funk, rock, jazz, R&B, and gospel to the Gordon Center. Led by longtime Jerry Garcia Band organist Melvin Seals, the group is known for spontaneous, high-energy performances with an often psychedelic edge that keeps audiences dancing and engaged.
Seals’ Hammond B-3 organ and keyboard work anchors the band’s sound. He is joined by John Kadlecik on lead guitar and vocals, John-Paul McLean on bass, and Jeremy Hoenig on drums. Together, they create an improvisational show that changes from night to night and showcases the band’s chemistry, soul, musicality, and extended jam-oriented approach.
