CAUGHT OUT THERE with Q&A and Panel Discussion

CAUGHT OUT THERE follows Heartly and Malik, two star-crossed singles who sign up for a matchmaking service organized around the zodiac. Their search for romance takes an unexpected turn when they encounter extraterrestrials among the potential matches. This witty, high-energy comedy explores contemporary dating, platonic friendship, and an invitation from Black extraterrestrials to look beyond the familiar.

The screening is followed by a Q&A and the “Afrofuturism, Art, & Revolution” panel discussion. Filmmakers Dr. Tahira Mahdi and Christopher A. Brown will speak with Dr. Lawrence Brown, author of *The Black Butterfly*, along with Dr. Sherella Cupid and Dr. Shawntay Stocks.
