Printmaking for Teens: Linocutting is the second session in the Walters Art Museum’s three-part Teen Lab series. Teens will explore the printmaking process by carving linoleum to create relief prints, with guidance from Adam Franchino, the museum’s lead art handler. The program offers hands-on artmaking, opportunities to ask questions about printmaking and museum work, and time to connect with other teens.

The broader series follows the creative process from planning through production: pattern design on October 1, linocut reliefs on November 5, and ink-making on December 3. Teen Lab also includes opportunities to explore the museum’s galleries and discover different cultures through art.
