Heather Bathon and Momma Rain present a joint exhibition at Paul’s Homewood Café featuring abstract mixed-media work and vibrant portraiture. Bathon draws on photographs of organic forms and colors found in nature, translating them into layered compositions with painted paper, chipboard, acrylics, vinyl paints, and oil sticks. Her work emphasizes bold shapes, rich textures, vivid color, and repeated patterns inspired by the natural world.

Momma Rain, the artistic name of Maria Buszinski, exhibits colorful acrylic portraits that combine cheerful, cherub-like faces with deeper reflections on identity, culture, politics, social issues, and human experience. Her “Zooly Art Pieces” collection celebrates individuality, community, self-expression, and the stories carried by familiar faces and everyday encounters.
