Charles McBee: You Had To Be There Tour

Charles McBee brings his stand-up comedy tour, *You Had To Be There*, to Baltimore for a nostalgic night centered on life before smartphones, social media, and group chats. Drawing on memories of mixtapes, LimeWire, Saturday morning cartoons, and hazardous childhood toys, McBee revisits the simpler, stranger, and more carefree experience of growing up in the 1980s and 1990s.

A former writer for the Golden Globes, *Hell of a Week with Charlamagne Tha God*, and MTV, McBee combines sharp storytelling with the cultural references that have helped make his nostalgia-focused comedy clips popular online. The show is intended for anyone who remembers when experiences had to be lived in person.
