Fireside Collective

Fireside Collective headlines the BMFS After Party at Baltimore Soundstage, bringing a progressive bluegrass sound shaped by folk, blues, funk, and other roots influences. The Asheville, North Carolina, quintet combines bluegrass instrumentation and vocal harmonies with original songs, energetic performances, and a style that can range from traditional to experimental.

The group features Joe Cicero on guitar, Alex Genova on banjo, Jesse Iaquinto on mandolin, Tommy Maher on resonator guitar, and Carson White on upright bass. Fireside Collective emerged from Asheville’s roots-music scene, won the 2016 MerleFest Band Contest, received an International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Band of the Year nomination, and has built a national touring following through performances for both bluegrass and eclectic festival audiences.
