GCS ft. Eric Gales, Dennis Chambers & Billy Sheehan

GCS brings together three acclaimed musicians for a genre-spanning live performance: two-time Grammy-nominated guitarist and vocalist Eric Gales, Modern Drummer Hall of Fame drummer Dennis Chambers, and five-time Best Rock Bass Player Billy Sheehan. Their combined sound ranges from heavy blues and hard rock to funk, soul, jazz fusion, psychedelia, and progressive music, with a strong emphasis on improvisation and live interaction.

Gales is a Memphis-born guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for playing a right-handed guitar upside down and moving fluidly across blues, rock, funk, soul, and psychedelia. He signed with Elektra Records at 15, released his debut album at 16, and has collaborated with Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Lauryn Hill, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. His albums *The Bookends* and *Crown* reached No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Albums chart, and *Crown* and *A Tribute to LJK* received Grammy nominations.

Baltimore native Dennis Chambers began playing drums at age four, performed in clubs by six, and joined Parliament/Funkadelic at 18. Celebrated for his groove, speed, power, and musical versatility, he has worked with artists including Santana, John Scofield, John McLaughlin, George Duke, the Brecker Brothers, Maceo Parker, and Mike Stern. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2001.

Billy Sheehan is known for treating the bass as both a rhythmic anchor and a lead instrument. A former member of Talas, David Lee Roth’s band, Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo, and Niacin, he has also worked extensively with Steve Vai. His technique incorporates three-finger picking, chords, harmonics, two-handed tapping, and controlled feedback. He was voted Best Rock Bass Player five times in *Guitar Player*’s readers’ poll.
