Six
Six is a high-energy musical concert in which the six wives of Henry VIII reclaim their narratives through pop music. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr take the microphone and compete to determine who should be remembered as the leading voice of Henry’s story. The production transforms five centuries of royal heartbreak into a celebration of female power and contemporary pop performance.
The musical has received major recognition, including 23 awards during the 2021–2022 Broadway season, the Tony Award for Best Original Score, the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, and the 2022 Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite New Musical. Its Broadway cast recording reached No. 1 on the Billboard cast album chart.
