Big Benny Bailey + Evil + Spencer Tate

Big Benny Bailey, Evil, and Spencer Tate share a bill at Le Mondo for an evening of genre-bending music. The event promises “AmericaNAH” in matching crochet alongside artists who approach country music on their own terms.

Big Benny Bailey, the South Philadelphia duo of Ben Pierce and Shamir Bailey, combines bluegrass, folk, and country influences in an unplugged, organic sound. Evil performs dark alternative country shaped by explorations of queer identity, faith, race, and the sources of personal and societal wickedness. DMV-based musician Spencer Tate draws from classical, jazz, R&B, and bluegrass.
