Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Presents: Forces of Nature

The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra presents *Forces of Nature*, a concert exploring the natural world as a source of wonder, change, and insight into human nature. The program opens with emerging composer Luke Soneral’s *An Overture: The Mouse and Its Shadow*, followed by Reinaldo Moya’s ocean-inspired violin concerto *Vestida de Mar*, featuring soloist Francesca Anderegg.

The concert continues with Tchaikovsky’s *The Tempest*, which transforms Shakespeare’s storm into a dramatic reflection on human experience, and Stravinsky’s *Divertimento from Le baiser de la fée (The Fairy’s Kiss)*, a work honoring Tchaikovsky and drawing on the wintry world of Hans Christian Andersen.
