Everything Is OK

Everything Is OK is a rock musical about Victoria, a singer/songwriter whose seemingly wonderful relationship with charismatic science-fiction novelist Nick gradually reveals itself as narcissistic abuse. As Victoria recognizes the pattern, she begins the difficult process of ending the relationship and finds clarity, healing, and empowerment through a supportive therapy group. The work combines serious relationship issues with humor and a broad range of musical styles.

This performance is presented as a concert reading with a full band onstage. Music and lyrics are by Melissa Sharlat, with a book by Rich Espey and direction by Gina Braden.
