Uh Huh Her + Making a Video Installation

Uh Huh Her is a four-channel video installation by Baltimore filmmaker and multimedia artist Dina Fiasconaro. The work examines privacy, control, recovery, and the way a single moment can come to define an entire story. Visitors may experience the installation continuously during the afternoon.

At 3pm, Fiasconaro will present Making a Video Installation, a practical session for filmmakers and artists interested in creating work beyond a single screen. Using Uh Huh Her and There Is No One What Will Take Care of You, a three-channel piece featured in the inaugural CineTech, she will discuss developing a story across multiple screens, deciding what appears on each screen, incorporating sound and physical space, and handling the practical demands of installing the completed work. The session is intended to help participants begin translating their own ideas into video installations.
