Billy Strings

Billy Strings brings his acclaimed, high-energy bluegrass performances to CFG Bank Arena for two Baltimore dates. Raised in Michigan and now based in Nashville, Strings is recognized for boundary-pushing musicianship and electric live shows that blend traditional bluegrass and folk influences with a broader, contemporary sound.

His latest studio album, *Highway Prayers*, was produced with Jon Brion and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart, making it the first bluegrass album in 22 years to do so. The album earned Strings his third Grammy Award and second consecutive win for Best Bluegrass Album. His subsequent releases include an Apple Music Nashville Sessions EP and *Live at the Legion*, a collaborative album with guitarist Bryan Sutton featuring 20 traditional bluegrass and folk songs recorded live in Nashville. Strings has also received two consecutive Americana Music Awards for Artist of the Year, four International Bluegrass Music Awards for Entertainer of the Year, and Pollstar honors for Best New Headliner and Breakthrough Artist of the Pandemic.
