Arts on Stage Presents...Grace for President

Arts on Stage presents *Grace for President*, a children’s theater production inspired by Kelly S. DiPucchio’s book. After third-grader Grace Campbell learns that no woman has ever served as U.S. president, she launches a school election and faces competition from the most popular boy in class. Through campaigning, pep rallies, service projects, and poster-making, Grace and her classmates explore what makes a strong candidate while discovering the humor and excitement of the political process.

The production features a book, music, and lyrics by Joan Cushin. It is designed to teach children about elections and is not connected to current political events.
